Feathers

Scratch My Nose ‘Feathers’ poster series was a direct action work onto the ‘Feathers’ retail fashion label poster. On the original poster campaign there was copy which alluded to a lifestyle young fashionable women should aspire too. Hundreds of these posters were adhered to the walls of building hoardings and railway station tunnels. SMN then hijacked the extensive and lucrative ad campaign firstly by adding the SMN graffiti style tag reminiscent of the early 90’s tag series campaign and secondly by spray stencilling Scratch My Nose over the original Feathers logo in the same format and art deco ‘Broadway’ text style. This was now a SMN campaign.

Below are four examples of the 100’s of SMN hijacked posters.
